APRIL MEETING: KEEPING COMMUNITIES SAFE
***Due to special nature of the topic, April Event Only
will be open to ALL (men and women) as space permits.***
Talking Points
Keeping schools, houses of worship and businesses safe today requires a preparedness plan. For law enforcement, preparedness begins with a greater understanding of the root cause of mass violence. We look forward to discussing the Crisis Intervention (CIT) Training provided to our first responders to identify subjects in crisis, connect them to services and thwart potential violence. In addition, we will discuss the collaborative relationships our office has developed with the schools within our district and with partners including Advocate Condell, the Lake County Health Department and more.

MENU: Buffet Luncheon
"There are a lot of dads who put their children on the school bus. They too are worried what may happen once they say goodbye," noted GLMV Chair Karen Kay Lavris. " We need everyone's support to care and keep our Children Safe. We are opening up this luncheon up to everyone to find out what our police are doing to return our children home from a day of learning."
Buffet Luncheon Slow roast beef simmered in honey butter, wood roasted chicken, garlic butter potatoes, vegetable medley, garden salad with choice of dressing, rolls.
