Description
This year we launched our second original short play contest. From nearly 400 one-act entries, Kirk Players presents four finalists with fresh, funny, and original short plays. Collectively called “Love, Fashion and Second Chances,” the four short one-acts will be presented at Tighthead Brewing Company on July 27, 2025.
This year's four captivating One-Act plays, winners from our spring writing contest, include:
- "A Spot of Miscommunication" by Jess Motyka (directed by Jess Motyka)
- "Matchmaker" by Nicole Lawrence (directed by Barb Selvaggio)
- "Chaperones" by Keith Whalen (directed by Teddi Santos)
- "Fair is Foul" by Donna Latham (directed by Chris Brouton)
