Lead Childcare Teacher

We are looking for an early childhood educator to work with our children and families. We are an education-based facility, balancing learning with fun. If you believe you are a good fit for our center, we would love to hear from you!

The ideal candidate should enjoy being with younger children, is patient, fun, engaging, caring, communicative, and outgoing!
1. Candidate must have 60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester hours or nine quarter hours in courses directed related to child care and/or child development from birth to age six
2. or one year (1560 clock hours) of child development experience in a nursery school, kindergarten, or licensed day care center and 30 semester hours (or 45quarter hours) of credits from an accredited college or university with 6 semester or nine quarter hours in courses related directly to child care :
3. or completion of a credentialing program, such as a CDA.
Job duties include, but not limited to:

  • Be able to lead classroom
  • Supervise and monitor the health, safety, and hygiene of the children in your care
  • Work with other teachers to implement creative and fun activities throughout the day
  • Be able to create lesson plans/schedules to ensure that children are able to meet their developmental milestones
  • Be flexible to help in other classrooms as necessary
Wage does depend on experience and education!
