Requirements/Skills
- Licensed PTA
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to physical therapy practices
- Strong detailed note taking skills
- Proficiently in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, rheumatic conditions, acute and chronic injuries
- Ability to develop effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Proficiency in implementing therapeutic exercises and modalities
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care
- Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
- Educate patients and their families on exercises and care plans to promote recovery
- Document patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques including trigger point therapy as needed
- Provide support in various settings such as clinics, home health, skilled nursing facilities, and acute care environments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols
